Albumul “Pictures of life” este un album cu 8 piese de pian solo si 2 piese pian + acompaniament reprezentand debutul artistului Ratoi Catalin. Stilul abordat se numeste progressive new age piano combinand elemente de new age piano/ easy listening piano (Richard Clayderman, George Winston) cu pian in genul rock progresiv (Keith Emerson, Jordan Rudess). Stilul poate fi de asemenea usor asimilat cu muzica de film. Acest album reflecta diferite evenimente din planul personal al artistului, figuri marcante din viata acestuia si amintiri tranpuse in muzica de pian. Misiunea acestui artist este: “Cultura este armonie”, aceasta armonie nefiind definita neaparat prin acorduri majore si progresii optimiste ci de transmiterea unei anumite stari. Acest album reprezinta o activitate culturala complementara a artistului Ratoi Catalin, un hobby, intrucat meseria de baza a acestuia este manager (team leader) al echipei de aprovizionare din cadrul santierului naval Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries.
Ratoi Catalin a urmat scoala si liceul de arta din Brasov la clasa de pian, dupa care a absolvit Facultatea de Stiinte Economice din cadrul Universitatii Transilvania Brasov. La un moment dat a trebuit sa decida intre cele 2 mari directii carieristice: managementul sau muzica. Desi a lucrat in 2 mari studiouri profesionale din Brasov si a colaborat cu multi oameni de muzica a optat in final pentru cariera economica. Totusi in virtutea celor peste 25 de ani de cantat la pian nu a putut renunta la pasiunea muzicala si adunat idei vechi si noi concretizandu-le in acest album.
Acest album va fi promovat on line prin intermediul site-ului artistului www. pianoprog.com, in presa locala culturala, radiourile locale compatibile cu acest tip de muzica (prea putine) si radiourile din SUA. Acest album poate fi cumparat din site-ul artistului http://www.pianoprog.com. Piata romaneasca inca nu este familiarizata cu acest tip de produs fiind probabil primul lansat oficial in acest gen insa tocmai acesti lucru i-l face interesant.

Acest album reflecta diferite evenimente din planul personal al artistului, figuri marcante din viata acestuia si amintiri tranpuse in muzica de pian. Misiunea acestui artist este: “Cultura este armonie”, aceasta armonie nefiind definita neaparat prin acorduri majore si progresii optimiste ci de transmiterea unei anumite stari. Acest album reprezinta o activitate culturala complementara a artistului Ratoi Catalin, un hobby, intrucat meseria de baza a acestuia este manager (team leader) al echipei de aprovizionare din cadrul santierului naval Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries.
Ratoi Catalin a urmat scoala si liceul de arta din Brasov la clasa de pian, dupa care a absolvit Facultatea de Stiinte Economice din cadrul Universitatii Transilvania Brasov. La un moment dat a trebuit sa decida intre cele 2 mari directii carieristice: managementul sau muzica. Desi a lucrat in 2 mari studiouri profesionale din Brasov si a colaborat cu multi oameni de muzica a optat in final pentru cariera economica. Totusi in virtutea celor peste 25 de ani de cantat la pian nu a putut renunta la pasiunea muzicala si adunat idei vechi si noi concretizandu-le in acest album.
Acest album va fi promovat on line prin intermediul site-ului artistului www. pianoprog.com, in presa locala culturala, radiourile locale compatibile cu acest tip de muzica (prea putine) si radiourile din SUA. Acest album poate fi cumparat din site-ul artistului http://www.pianoprog.com. Piata romaneasca inca nu este familiarizata cu acest tip de produs fiind probabil primul lansat oficial in acest gen insa tocmai acesti lucru i-l face interesant.
